Favorite Cookbooks

I still love a cookbook. I mean who doesn’t love flipping through the pages of a very used cookbook with favorite recipes and fresh ideas we' haven’t thought of before!!! OMG I love growing my cookbook collection and getting new inspirations for all of the things we eat in our home! Anything from snacks to breakfast to dinner! I love it!!!

I have compiled some of my favorite cookbooks to share them with you all and I know you will not be disappointed!

I am a Joanna Gaines fan and this cookbook is SO well done. She did such a great job on her second book. The meals are great for entertaining or a family dinner! Here are some of our family favorites:

Everything in this book is gluten free, and free of refined sugars. It makes making a meal for kids with sensitivities super seamless! I highly encourage grabbing a copy of this one and her other books ASAP! Here are some of my favorite recipes from True Comfort:

  • Game Day Sheet Pan Nachos

  • French Toast Casserole

  • Oatmeal Bowl with Warm Berry Sauce

This is a great universal cookbook. It goes through ALL of the methods and explanations for cooking and baking with detailed directions including photos. It is a great resources for experienced and not experienced chefs and bakers! I highly suggest this cookbook for a wedding, bridal shower, anniversary, or new home gift! It is the perfect cookbook for anyone learning or experienced!

I can’t even highlight my favorite recipes because there ARE WAY TOO MANY! This book taught me how to make sourdough and how to really perfect a stir fry!

OLIPOP - Finally, Soda That's Actually Good For You

I have always been a Rachael Ray fan. I think all of her work is great. She has worked really hard in her career to make a good name for herself and her recipes are easy to follow. Watching her on TV is my favorite but this cookbook is so beautiful! She has a series called A Week in a Day and she goes through a whole week’s worth of food in one day and it’s AMAZING. Check it out on discovery+. Anyway, I have cooked a decent amount out of this book and although these recipes take more time than others I usually make they have all been delicious. My favorites have been the Italian Sausage Burgers with Provolone and Broccoli Rabe, Lasagna with Meat Ragu, Carbonara, Gnocchi (she has a butternut gnocchi I want to try too), and roasted green beans and tomatoes!

I hope I encouraged you to grab yourself some cookbooks and dig in! There is nothing sweeter than a homemade meal even if it’s not good the first time you made it! Happy Cooking!!!!
