Make Yourself a Luxurious Bubble Bath
I used to take a bubble bath a few times a week. Then somewhere between having kids, and poor bedtime routines, and busy schedules I stopped. But I want to start implementing them again because they are so relaxing and help so much with detoxing and inflammation! When I was trying to think how I could make my GREEN bath tub, and falling apart bathroom feel ‘spa like’ I knew it would be difficult but worth the TRY! So I came up with a list of ways to make my very 70’s style bathroom feel luxurious when I close the shower curtain!
Make a Playlist
There is so much that can be changed with music. Having a good relaxing playlist is key when trying to create an environment of relaxation and luxury! You are totally worth this time for you, and whatever will make you feel more relaxed will be great! So, check out this playlist I made that will help your tired mama body and mind relax for the whole 10-20 minutes you get to spend alone in the bathroom today!
Add Bubbles!
My favorite bubble bath is Dr. Teals - Coconut or Lavender. They both smell SO amazing and they contain epsom salt which is great for detox and inflammation issues!
Light a Candle
A recently discovered PF Candle Co. I’m totally obsessed with their candles and they all smell SO good! Their lavender candle would be SO great for a mama relaxing spa night in the corner of your bath tub!
Put on an Eye Mask
I found this 12 pack of eye masks online and they are so nice and work so well! Adding them under your eyes while you’re taking a relaxing bath is dreamy! They are on a deal right now so grab them!
Most importantly…
Take the time to rest and relax. DO NOT scroll. Do not think about the kids screaming downstairs or the dishes in the sink. Take the time to be intentional about resting and give yourself that special time to just BE.
