Travel Tips for Work & Play
I used to travel for work at least twice a month. So I’ve learned A LOT about what works for travel and what doesn’t. I learned how to stay healthy and how to eat well when you’re eating out several times a week! I’ve learned so much traveling for work and I utilize those lessons when I travel with my family. Even a short road trip is easier when I’m prepared and know what to do to feel good!
We don’t have to go on vacation or leave on a work trip and gain weight. There is so much room to grow in this area and I’m excited to share my top tips with you for staying healthy and making your home away from home a place of luxury and rest!
Here are my top tips:
stay hydrated - when in doubt drink more water. (I love my Yeti water bottle!)
bring your own snacks to the airport
eat the correct portions of fruit + veggies
ask for your food grilled or baked not fried.
ask for your veggies steamed.
exercise for at least 30 mins. in the morning
Get to bed by 10pm.
bring lavender essential oil for bed time + relaxation.
pack your favorite pillow case - satin pillow cases are my go-to!
air travel is so much better with a good neck pillow!
bring face mask packets, bath salts, and sugar scrubs (Dr. Teals is my FAVORITE!)
