Snack boxes, the next new ‘thing’

Don’t you just love going to Starbucks and getting one of those fun ‘protein boxes’? I always love going there and grabbing one of them. Neurologically, yep I’m going there, it appeals to our brains because it is jam packed with different textures and tastes that make our tastebuds and brain go crazy! Making us WANT them!


I always struggle with picking snacks that are delicious. I get bored easily and when I eat the same snack every day it get’s boring!

So I’ve been making snack boxes each week and they’re not only simply but they are satisfying! Full of protein, fiber, vitamins, and good fats!

Snack boxes consist of:
+ Dairy
+ Carb
+ Veggie
+ Protein (sometimes)
+ Fruit (sometimes)

This quick snack box is filling and you can mix and max the ingredients. I love putting spreadable cheese like laughing cow cheese on top of a wasa cracker. Eating raw broccoli and the crunch of walnuts. It’s easy enough to re-create these at home for a fraction of the cost of just one of them from the bux! So here are some ideas you can mix + match!
