5 Recipes for Just for Moms

I’m always making recipes and meals that are family-friendly and lately I’ve been researching recipes and drinks that will help me feel good. What’s that mean you might ask? Recipes that will help my hormones, regulate my blood sugar and help me feel the best I can feel so that I can take care of all of these awesome kids God’s given me and my hubby! Oh, and myself!

Here are some recipes I’ve found & have made on my own that will help you feel your best!

Sleepy Mom Mocktail from Needed

I love the Needed products and this recipe sounds so yummy and bonus if it helps you sleep! Check out the recipe below! Use code EMILY for 15% off your purchase at needed!

Hormone Balancing Arugula Salad

I love Arugula and recently learned it’s helpful effects for supporting my gallbladder. So combining all of these ingredients to help balancing hormones is a win-win for me! As we get older we have to support our detox pathways to eliminate excess hormones we are holding onto. That’s where diet and exercise become incredibly important! We don’t have to suffer - we just have to support our bodies. I don’t really like Tahini so I would probably make this salad but swap out the dressing. Feel free to try it however you would like it though!

Protein Bagels

Getting enough protein is essential for our health as women. We need to aim for 1 ounce of protein per 1 pound of body weight. That is a LOT of protein. Gone are the days of waking up and having a coffee and a bagel with cream cheese friends. We are grown ups, and that means our bagels have protein in them! I made these with sourdough starter but to make them without you just do a 1:1 ratio of flour and yogurt. I grind up oat flour to make them gluten free! They are YUMMY and trust me you will feel much better after eating these than you will after eating a regular bagel!

Dark Chocolate Avocado Pudding

Don’t knock it til you try it moms. This is YUMMY. Who doesn’t love dark chocolate. It is so good for you, and the avocado is a great healthy fat. All good things to support our hormones and blood sugar as well as energy and overall wellbeing!
